Steph's Bakery is absolutely amazing! I had the butter croissant and the ham and cheese croissant, and both were delicious. The quality, flavor, and freshness were outstanding. It finally feels like we have a real European-style bakery with authentic pastries. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. We definitely needed something like this in the area. Highly recommended!
Cute place. I had the Morning Glow juice. Delicious. I also had cortado. I have never had one but was warned. Very strong expresso with little cream. I like my expressos with more cream. Was good, just not my taste.
Hands down the best in Punta Gorda. Every single thing we have tried is delicious. The staff is so friendly and Steph made it a point to remember our names. I doubt any other bakery will top this!! High quality food! Can’t wait to come back.
This was my second time here and have had a great experience both times. Everything is made from scratch with high quality ingredients. So far we have tried the Quiche, various coffees, steak and chicken empanada, chorizo bearclaw, banana bread pudding. We also brought home creme brulee crossoints, a muffin, and some potato leek soup, which we are excited to try. The owners and staff were very kind and took the time to speak with us and get to know us. We will definitely be coming back regularly!
Enjoyed a decaf drip (they don’t have decaf espresso available at this time) and a warm chocolate chip cookie! The cookies don’t give cookbook-picture-worthy, until you break it open and the chocolates melted. The biggest downside is parking and not having tables to accommodate groups (unless you pushed tables together, not sure if that’s allowed or encouraged). The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I didn’t notice any houseplants (maybe 3?), as most were succulents. Definitely a lovely spot to bring your computer and get some work done, or meet with a friend. Looking forward to coming back!
This is one of the nicest coffee shops I’ve ever been to. I had a latte with oat milk that was foamed and caramel syrup. It was absolutely delicious. I loved the ceilings and decor. Reminded me of some places I had visited in Europe. I am actually going to move my book club to this location. I liked it so much!
I recently visited Steph’s Bakery and can confidently say this place is something special. Their croissants are truly next-level—handcrafted over a 3-day process using high-quality ingredients—and you can absolutely taste the difference. My friend and I split two croissants, and the lemon meringue croissant was incredible. The pastry was perfectly flaky, the lemon had just the right amount of tartness, and the meringue was absolute perfection. The crème brûlée croissant was also very good—the sugar topping had that satisfying crack—but the filling just wasn’t my personal favorite (though still beautifully done and paired with a buttery, flaky croissant). I also took home an almond croissant for the next morning, and it did not disappoint. It had the perfect amount of filling, generous almond shavings, and that same light, buttery, flaky texture. Even my husband commented on how good it was. The coffee deserves its own mention—smooth, medium roast, and so well-balanced that I didn’t even need cream. It was excellent on its own. Beyond the food, the experience was just as impressive. The seating area is stunning—light, airy, and full of character with historic copper tin-style ceilings. I was so taken by the space (and all the beautiful cactus and succulent displays) that I completely forgot to take photos of the bakery cases! Customer service was exceptional. The owner, Steph, even came over to chat, which added such a warm, personal touch. They also offer classes to create cactus and succulent arrangements—such a unique and fun addition—and I’ll definitely be signing up for one soon. Bottom line: Amazing pastries, excellent coffee, beautiful atmosphere, and genuinely welcoming service. I’ll absolutely be back—and plan on becoming a regular.

The flat white was perfect! The food was amazing. I got my order to go and the cashier notified me the food would be chilled. If it’s this good chilled I can’t imagine how great it is eating in store. Located in the arcade building you can park in the back by the perfect caper. Inside has multiple seating options as well. So good!!
Absolutely loved our visit to Steph’s Bakery & More! I had the prosciutto and brie puff pastry along with a cappuccino, and both were so delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The whole space has such a cool, relaxing vibe surrounded by beautiful plants, which makes it feel extra special and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and you can really feel the love and care put into everything there. Such a unique little spot and definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area!
